Rayla Ray is a Texas gal that was raised in a small town of Gatesville, the spur capital of Texas. She is produced and managed in Nashville, TN by Danny Wells and Richard Donahue, Producer/song writer of Next Level Entertainment and managed by Tom Loomis of Tommy Ray Sound Design. Rayla is a featured country artist and has opened concerts for Mark Chestnutt, Collin Raye, LanTana, Mark McKinney, Aaron Watson and The Commodores along with concert closers for Eli Young, Bellamy Brothers and Merle Haggard. The biggest concert to date was in June 2010 opening for The Commodores in front of 75,000 people in Allen, TX during July 4th weekend. Rayla was also a featured artist at the Choctaw Casino in Durant Oklahoma while living in McKinney Texas performing on a rotation on the Center Stage and Diamondback Lounge till moving to Nashville, Tennesee. Rayla now performs a rotation at Cadillac Ranch on Lower Broadway, "Nashville's biggest stage" and also Cowboy Kewl, brand new club next to Nashville's famous Printer's Alley. Rayla loves playing the big stage festivals and rodeos and looking forward to playing along side more artist this year. Rayla and her band perform all around Nashville and middle Tennesee and in Rayla's own words " I just love to sing". Rayla's goal is to become a recording Artist and focus's her goals around that and moved to Nashville in March 2011. Her 3rd day in Nashville she was already on stage at a festival in Columbia,Tennessee called "Mule Days" for two dates. Rayla and her high energy performance's and band are performing on different stages where Rayla has put on 100 shows in six months and looking to do 200 or more next year just in Nashville area.
Rayla's influences include Patsy Cline, Reba McEntire, Martina McBride, Garth Brooks, Shaina Twain, Gretchen Wilson, Carrie Underwood and LeAnn Womack. Rayla started music seriously as a contest singer in her teens and won the State of Texas regional event "Talent Quest" in Arlington, TX and alsoin Durant, OK (Choctaw Casino) that took her to the nationals in Laughin, Nv. The Dallas Texas radio station, K-BIG 96.3 KSCS, took interest in her and made her the Lead Presenting Artist for the Texas Showcase Singers and performed on stages of the Texas Motor Speedway at the Cotton Bowl (Texas/ OU game), Dr. Pepper Park in Frisco,TX, and the State Fair of Texas. Rayla is booked for venues like casinos, rodeos, conventions, clubs, weddings and festivals across all 50 states and one day the world.
